Dax Shepard Says Veganism Makes Him Feel Great

Actor and fiancé to Kristen Bell says that going vegan has enhanced his life.

Since actor Dax Shepard eliminated meat and dairy from his diet in January, he says he feels better across the board. In a recent conversation with Playboy, Shepard was asked for his take on longtime vegan Beau Bridges, his costar in Hit & Run. Shepard admitted that Bridges inspired him to give veganism a go after noticing how youthful he appeared despite being in his 70s. After seeing Forks Over Knives, Shepard decided to commit himself to the vegan lifestyle. “It’s nothing like the pill in The Matrix but damn good … I sleep 15-percent better. My allergies are 15-percent better,” he says. Shepard, whose fiancé Kristen Bell is also vegan, has also noticed clearer skin since making the switch to a plant-based diet.
