Milwaukee Group Hosts Thanksgiving Veg Feast

Milwaukee Area Resources for Vegetarianism is holding a pre-Thanksgiving vegan event in Shorewood, WI.

On November 17, nonprofit Milwaukee Area Resources for Vegetarianism will host its 18th annual meat- and dairy-free pre-Thanksgiving potluck feast at the North Shore Presbyterian Church Hall in Shorewood, WI. Tickets to the animal-friendly event are $6 for adults and $3 for young children, five to 12, for guests who bring a dish to share. Online registration for the event is currently open but must be completed and submitted by November 14 to be admitted to the potluck event. All ticket proceeds directly support animal-friendly and humane educational programs and organizations. Thanksgiving meals have been making headlines recently for being not only veg-friendly, but also traditional and hearty.
