Health and Wellness Seminar Begins in 2013

A three-day seminar begins in Garden City, NY that discusses holistic plant-based living.

Brian Clement, internist and director of The Hippocrates Health Institute based in West Palm Beach, FL is hosting a three-day health and wellness seminar from January 4-6 in Garden City, NY. The Institute is known for advocating whole foods and natural living, as well as complementary healthcare and education. With recent headlines warning that obesity is going to affect majority of Americans in the next few decades—possibly costing the nation up to $66 billion in healthcare—HHI believes education on wholesome and healthy plant-based living is necessary. Researchers also report that dropping the average Body Mass Index by five percent by 2030 would help disease rates decline.
