Spork Foods Hosts Vegan Pop-Up Restaurant in LA

Jenny Engel and Heather Goldberg join Susan Feniger’s Street to host a vegan comfort-food themed pop-up.

Diners in Los Angeles will soon have another vegan restaurant to hang their hats on—for an evening. On Monday, January 14th, Hollywood restaurant Street will host the team behind vegan cooking school Spork Foods, sisters Jenny Engel and Heather Goldberg, for a one-night vegan pop-up dinner. The menu, a mix of dishes from Engel and Goldberg’s Spork-Fed cookbook and vegan dishes from Street, includes Beer Battered Avocado Tacos, Tofu and Hearts of Palm Crabcakes with Remoulade, and Mini Spiced Sugar Doughnuts topped with chocolate sauce. The dinner also includes an optional beverage pairing.
