Vegan Chain Veggie Grill to Add More Restaurants

Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Seattle are among the cities included in Veggie Grill’s expansion plan.

Plant-based eating is making its way across America; recently, Chipotle announced a vegan option to be tested in San Francisco, and now southern California’s Veggie Grill has plans to expand its current store count from 16 to 32 locations in 18 months. Offering affordable all-vegan fare in a casual setting, Veggie Grill was voted best American restaurant in LA Times’ 2012 Readers Choice. In the next six months, stores will open in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Seattle. The San Jose location, which opened late 2012, was the first in northern California. All Hail Kale salad and Crispy Chickin’ are just a couple of the delicious menu options.
