Vegan Chef Featured on ABC’s New Show The Taste

Last night, vegan chef Dayna Mcleod auditioned for a spot on ABC’s new primetime cooking show The Taste.

While vegan bakers have made a name for themselves on television thanks to Chloe Coscarelli and Doron Petersan, yesterday vegan chef Dayna Mcleod set out to prove compassionate living has a place on one of primetime television’s major networks. On taste alone, each judge builds and coaches a culinary team to compete in ABC’s The Taste. The UK’s culinary expert Nigella Lawson, French chef Ludo Lefebvre, and celebrity chef Brian Malarkey join The Travel Channel’s Anthony Bourdain on the judges panel. Competitors range from amateur everyday cooks to professional chefs, and the show promises to feature cuisine from all over the world. To watch Dayna Mcleod’s audition on last night’s show, check out abc.com.
