Tal Ronnen Opens Vegan Mediterranean Eatery in LA

Come March, the City of Angels will have a new refined yet affordable vegan restaurant, created by seasoned culinary veteran Tal Ronnen.

Vegan culinary expert and chef to the stars Tal Ronnen is set to open a Mediterranean-themed restaurant called Crossroads in Los Angeles this March, reports eater.com. Besides penning The Conscious Cook, Ronnen’s resumé includes catering Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s wedding and preparing meals for Oprah Winfrey’s 21-day vegan cleanse. Crossroads, for which Ronnen is partnering with Serafina Magnussen and Scot Jones, with whom he also collaborated for The Conscious Cook, will have an upscale atmosphere, but accessible prices. The new City of Angels eatery will have a full service bar complete with wine and organic beer as well as a bevy of “farm-to-glass cocktails.” There will also be a wine room with a retractable roof for guests to enjoy.
