Today Show Anchor Campaigns for Animal Rescue

As part of its “Today Takes Action” series, NBC will air an animal adoption public advertisement across the United States.

The Humane Society of the United States, Maddie’s Fund, and Today anchor Natalie Morales teamed up for a week-long public service announcement campaign to promote pet shelter adoptions and reduce euthanasia in the US. The recent collaboration is part of “Today Takes Action,” a series that features different personalities from the show advocating for campaigns of their choice. Morales, who has done animal rescue projects with Today in the past, has an adopted dog named Zara. The PSA, which is funded by the Ad Council’s federal and non-profit partners, will be aired on NBC channels throughout the country.
