Portland to Welcome a new Cruelty-Free Bakery

Petunia’s Pies and Pastries is set to open in Portland, OR.

Petunia’s Pies and Pastries, a vegan bakery in Portland, OR, got its start as a food stand at farmers’ markets before expanding to a brick-and-mortar location in the city’s West End. Baker Lisa Clark is known for her vegan, gluten-free treats such as vanilla buttercream sandwich cookies, banana coconut cream pies, and Thin Mint brownies. The bakery’s line up isn’t just limited to dessert, however, with an assortment of breakfast items, coffee drinks, savory foods, and even cocktails and beers for patrons to enjoy. Petunia’s joins a slew of meat- and dairy-free eateries in The City of Roses including Sweet Lemon, Green Wok, and LivingWell Bistro.
