Tal Ronnen Releases a New Line of Vegan Cheese

Besides opening an LA-based Mediterranean restaurant with Travis Barker, celebrity veg-chef Tal Ronnen is concocting a new line of nut-based artisan cheese.

It’s a big year for vegan-cuisine mastermind Tal Ronnen. Besides opening his new Mediterranean-style eatery Crossroads, Ronnen has a line of veg-friendly artisanal cheese in the works called Kite Hill. These dairy-free, cultured delights are made from nut milk and will be served as soft, semi-soft and soft ripened. Ronnen gained notoriety in the vegan world for being favored amongst celebs—he catered Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s wedding and also was the chef for Oprah Winfrey’s 21-day cleanse.
