Upton’s Naturals is Opening a Diner in Chicago

The seitan company’s first café will soon open in The Windy City.

Upton’s Naturals may be known for its prepackaged seitan, but it’s about to become a whole lot more with a new eatery in the works. Nicole Sopko, vice president of Upton’s, announced plans to open a counter-style café serving coffee, baked goods, freshly made juices, and sandwiches featuring Upton’s seitan this summer. It will also host events and yoga classes, and will be located inside the new Upton’s Naturals headquarters––a three-story, 9,000 square-foot building in Chicago’s West Town. “It would be nice to have some sort of a retail presence … We see our customers when we go out to events, but not on a day-to-day basis.” Sopko told
