Starbucks Rolls Out Veg Salad On its Spring Menu

The coffeehouse giant introduces a meatless vegetable and brown rice salad bowl.

Starbucks recently released a list of new menu items, and one of the offerings is the meat-free Hearty Veggie & Brown Rice Salad Bowl, currently available in select stores. The prepackaged salad contains kale, beets, roasted butternut squash, red cabbage, steamed broccoli, and brown rice. Though the lemon tahini dressing contains honey, it is packaged separately on the side. Additional new menu items available at Starbucks in June are the Valencia Orange Refresher, a caffeinated fruit juice-based beverage, and the Shaken Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade.
