Health Guru to Do Veg Cleanse With Wedding Guests
Rainbeau Mars, who is best known for her yoga DVDs, has invited her bridal guests to participate in a 21-day plant-based cleanse with her and her husband.
Health and fitness guru Rainbeau Mars is preparing for her wedding to Hollywood manager Michael Karlin by engaging in a three-week vegan cleanse and she is inviting all of her guests to join. The “zero calorie restriction, plant-based food revitalization program” includes a cleanse guide complete with a menu plan and recipes, weekly teleconferences, an online forum, and inspirational messages. Mars was lambasted by Cosmopolitan for being a “bridezilla” for requesting her guests to participate in the cleanse, but Mars claims that the 21-day nutritional program is fully optional. “The story was twisted and I never ‘demanded’ anything,” she writes on her Facebook in response to the article. “We were intending to include everyone with an invitation to what is suppose to be a healing and purifying ceremony for all.”
