Vegan Chain Veggie Grill Rolls Out New Menu Items

The quickly expanding West Coast plant-based food chain has announced several seasonal dishes to ring in the summer.

Southern California-based restaurant Veggie Grill is known for its All Hail Kale salad, but it will soon have new menu favorites as the chain recently released six delicious dishes just in time for summer. The Savory Kale Caesar salad includes marinated kale and tempeh bacon, while other new offerings include Baja “Fish” Tacos with roasted corn salsa, Chickin’ Tacos with mashed avocados, Asparagus Soup, and The Grilled Cookie, a sweet chocolate chip cookie topped with chocolate pudding. Veggie Grill made headlines earlier this month when Forbes magazine listed it as one of “15 Explosively Growing Companies to Watch This Year,” and by announcing at the beginning of this year that the vegan franchise would be expanding locations up and down the West Coast.
