Today.com Features 4-Year-Old Vegan Baking Whiz

Petey Rojas and his YouTube vegan baking show are spotlighted on the food section of the Today show blog.

New York City's Petey Rojas began his vegan-baking career with a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip cupcakes at the age of two, shares today.com. Rojas’s mother and baking assistant Jill Fehrenbacher thought it would be a fun idea to post videos of her son whipping up the sweet treats on YouTube and her blog Inhabitat after noticing a lack of online tutorials for cooking with toddlers; before long, the culinary star went viral, and the baking duo began filming how-to’s for vegan dishes beyond cupcakes, including fun snail- and snake-shaped bread. While Rojas has yet to express interest in becoming a baker or chef when he grows up, he still has big plans in the works, telling today.com he wants to be “a doctor, an astronaut, a paleontologist, an astronomer, and a construction worker.”
