Recently, CNN Money spotlighted Beyond Meat in an online piece, telling the story of the company's start as a collaborative effort between food scientist Fu-Hung Hsieh and ethical businessman Ethan Brown—and its attempt to replace real meat behind the deli counter. The news source reported that Beyond Meat is increasingly relevant as a modern answer to factory farming’s wastefulness and inhumane activities, but noted that the brand has much work to do to achieve its goal of breaking out of the niche veg market.
