Philly to Get Sinfully Good Vegan Bar in 2014

Patrons in the City of Brotherly Love will be able to wine and dine on libations and vegan menu pairings at Charlie Was a Sinner.

Hip City Veg owner Nicole Marquis is adding a third establishment to her cruelty-free resumé with Charlie Was a Sinner, an upcoming Philadelphia watering hole that will have a full vegan menu. According to philly.com, Charlie’s namesake is derived from the bar’s neighborhood, which once held a seedy reputation. International firm CannonDesign will be charged with furbishing the interior, using the “Sin City” theme as a muse. Construction crews will break ground at the South 13th Street location on December 3, and the bar will be open to the public by early spring, reports philly.com.
