Top Plant-Based Health Stories of 2015 Revealed

Leading vegan health organization compiled its top content of the year.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) recently released its end-of-the-year data analyzing the eight million page views and more than 320,000 new social media followers it received in 2015. With a mission of saving and improving lives through good nutrition, advanced medical research, and public policy advocacy, PCRM reached approximately 158.3 million people through tweets, Facebook posts, and email campaigns, where a 21-Day Vegan Kickstart program, a meat consumption and cancer risk fact sheet, and their Ethical Research and Education section were top hits among those interested in a plant-based approach to health. Other popular pieces of the year included “Boost Healthy Gut Bacteria with Plant-Based Foods,” “Warning Signs of Clogged Arteries,” and “The Dangers of Processed Meat.”
