UK Model Anais Gallagher Judges Vegan Shoe Contest

The model, TV presenter, and daughter of former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher will judge designs for a shoe to be launched by Bourgeois Boheme.

Model Anais Gallagher, the daughter of former Oasis guitarist/songwriter Noel Gallagher, recently partnered with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to launch the “Designed by You: Bourgeois Boheme's Next Sneaker!” competition. Contestants must submit a commercially-viable unisex sneaker design—made only from animal product-free materials—and the winner, chosen by Gallagher, will have his or her winning design featured in London-based luxury vegan shoe brand Bourgeois Boheme’s upcoming AW16 line. In regard to vegan footwear, Gallagher stated, “I love fashion and I love animals—so this competition is a win-win," adding that she “cannot wait to strut around town in the winning pair of shoes!” Budding designers have until February 29 to submit their creations.
