This Week's Must-Have

Sprouted Vegan Waffles

Ezekiel's frozen waffles make breakfast a whole lot better.

We’re longtime fans of Food for Life’s Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted whole-grain breads (which are packed with protein and fiber), so you can imagine how gitty we were for the brand’s new vegan frozen waffles. In flavors such as Sprouted Apple Nut, Golden Flax, and Blueberry—all made with ingredients such as sprouted barley, sprouted millet, and sprouted chia—we couldn’t wait to explore the waffle possibilities. For breakfast, we’ve been topping these with a dollop of coconut whip, fresh berries, slivered almonds, and a hefty drizzle of maple syrup. Lunch time may very well be waffle sandwiches stuffed with crispy Gardein chick'n, avocado, tomato, and slaw. And what’s for dinner, you ask? Breakfast, of course!
