The Standard UK: "Is Leonardo DiCaprio Vegan?"

According to the publication, all signs point to "yes."

In a recent feature, media outlet The Standard UK provided evidence that would suggest actor and Academy Award-winner Leonardo DiCaprio is vegan. The publication explained that DiCaprio opted for a “special” menu at the after party for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards—which consisted of eggplant, a quinoa salad, and crème brûlée. Additionally, the actor played executive producer for the environmental documentary Cowspiracy, and was credited with influencing Gwyneth Paltrow to eat more plant-based foods. During this year’s Academy Awards, DiCaprio won his long-awaited first award and focused his acceptance speech on the topic of climate change and sustainability. The Standard wrote, “Once upon a time, avoiding all animal products would have been an eccentric look for a Hollywood leading man, … but DiCaprio represents a slight change of emphasis.” Is he vegan? We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
