A new iteration of New York City’s vegan chain Blossom will open Wednesday in the Columbus Circle subway station. Blossom Du Jour Express will be one of 42 fast-casual shops in the “Turnstyle”—a mall in the underground stop that will also include outposts of vegan-friendly Ellary’s Greens and Pressed Juicery. Blossom Du Jour Express will feature grab-and-go items and menu options such as Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wraps, Beet Burgers, breakfast items, desserts, customizable bowls, and sandwiches like Midtown Melt (pictured) made with Cajun seitan, vegan cheese, mixed greens, guacamole, and chipotle aioli. Founded by long time vegans Ronen Seri and Pamela Blackwell, Blossom Restaurants is New York City’s largest vegan restaurant group and opened its flagship location in Chelsea in 2005 before expanding its eateries—both casual and upscale—across the city.
