Cowspiracy-Makers Debut New Vegan Flick Online

Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn launch What the Health online to unravel the connection between Big Pharma, consuming animal products, and poor American health.

In their follow-up film to acclaimed environmental documentary Cowspiracy, producers Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn will launch What the Health online in March. The new documentary aims to “expose the collusion and corruption in government and big business that is costing us trillions of healthcare dollars, and keeping us sick” and includes appearances by vegan doctors such as Michael Greger and Neal Barnard who promote a plant-based diet for the treatment and prevention of major diseases including diabetes, cancer, obesity, and heart disease. Last year, What the Health closed a crowdfunding campaign, raising $273,428—more than four times of its initial goal. What the Health will premiere worldwide online on March 17 (streaming for four days only), and 50 percent of sales after release will be donated to partner organization Food not Bombs to support its efforts in providing healthy food to people in need.
