The company behind the burger, Impossible Foods, is in the midst of a rapid expansion, with the aim of displacing meat-based burgers on menus nationwide, and has thus far been introduced in eateries across New York, California, Nevada, and now Texas. The company is currently constructing a massive production facility in Oakland, CA with plans to make its plant-based burgers available at 1,000 restaurants by the end of the year.
