Vegan chain eatery by CHLOE is set to expand to its first international location in the Covent Garden neighborhood in London this fall. The restaurant first opened its flagship location in 2015 in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City and has since grown into a multi-state chain with outlets in Los Angeles and Boston, with a Providence, RI, location scheduled to open this summer. At its new London location, by CHLOE will sell its signature vegetable-based sandwiches, burgers, pastas, salads, vegan ice cream, desserts by sister brand Sweets by CHLOE, and an undisclosed, specially developed menu item to capture the spirit of London’s Covent Garden neighborhood. According to media outlet Bloomberg, the chain currently sells approximately 840 vegan burgers per day and draws nearly $500,000 in sales monthly. The new by CHLOE location will be the first of its international expansion—which will grow to include numerous locations across London, with plans for future restaurants across Europe and the Middle East. Departed by CHLOE co-founder and famed vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli is working on her own projects, including new vegan cookbook Chloe Flavor: Saucy, Crispy, Spicy, Vegan, due out in March 2018.
