This list is going up where I can see it. I'm seriously thinking about becoming vegetarian. I just don't want to announce it all over the place and then I let everyone down.

Here are a few more that I discovered after going vegan, to my pleasant surprise: *No more colds and flu(used to get them 3 times per year, like clockwork, now working on year 3 with none!) *No more heartburn! Ever! Tossed out the Tums. *No more drippy sinuses. (It was the dairy, who knew?)

Vegans smell better but we also 'smell' better, a plus often but sometimes quite the opposite depending on what the odor is... :-). I love #67 - when we do that, we ARE vegan. "Ahmisa" is my next tattoo, scheduled for July 29 at Scapegoat Tattoo in Portland (next to Food Fight!). We follow our hearts so those of animals can continue beating. It just doesn't get any better than that.

I don't get # 52. The 3-to-1 ratio of female to male vegetarians. Was this written by a guy, haha?

Wow! This is so encouraging. I'm a one-year out cancer survivor who just spent last weekend in the hospital with what seemed like a heart attack but was not (thankfully). I'm very overweight and I just started eating vegetarian about a week ago. This is still rather new to me and I'm looking forward to feeling better and losing some of this weight. I was a voracious meat eater, and now I don't really want it all that much anymore. I'm real surprised by that. I feel like I'm on a new adventure.
