Del Taco Launches One-Pound Vegan Beyond Meat Burritos with Free Delivery for Fourth of July 

This week, Mexican-inspired chain Del Taco is launching a new Epic Burrito menu featuring Beyond Meat nationwide. The four-item menu contains two fully vegan one-pound burritos filled with specially seasoned vegan beef crumbles: Beyond Original Mex Burrito (Beyond Meat, slow-cooked beans, cilantro lime rice, Del Taco’s new fresh guacamole, and fresh-made pico de gallo); and Beyond Fresh Avocado Burrito (Beyond Meat, sliced avocado, fresh-made pico de gallo, salsa casera, cilantro lime rice, and seasoned black beans). The other two Epic Beyond Burritos are made with dairy products. From July 3 to July 5, Del Taco is offering free delivery through the DoorDash app of any order from the Beyond Meat Epic Burrito menu. 

“This Fourth of July weekend, plant-based fans will be able to celebrate with one of the largest menus of plant-based items in the fast-food category thanks to the new Beyond Meat Epic Burritos we have added to the Del Taco menu,” Tim Hackbardt, Del Taco’s Chief Marketing Officer, said. “As an added bonus, working with Beyond Meat and DoorDash, we’re able to make it easy by offering free delivery with any Beyond Meat Epic Burrito order through Doordash.”
