PCRM Hosts Basketball Game for School Lunches

This fall, PCRM members, celebrities, and the LA school district will participate in a basketball game to advocate for healthy school lunches.

On October 13, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine will participate in a basketball game with the world-famous basketball team the Harlem Wizards in support of healthy school lunches. PCRM's team, The Food Fighters, will be comprised of various committee members, celebrities, and students and faculty of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The objective of the game is to promote healthy school lunches in a fun and engaging manner. Tickets are now available for purchase for the autumn face-off in Los Angeles. Dr. Neal Barnard will serve as the team's captain, and John Salley of the NBA will be head coach.
