A Domino’s Pizza franchise in Israel now has a vegan option, made with soy and vegetables. The franchise’s CEO, Yossi Elbaz, told Israeli news source Haaretz that it took the establishment approximately six months to develop the cruelty-free dining option, and that the Domino’s headquarters, which is situated in Ann Arbor, MI, is reportedly satisfied with the revolutionary commercial leap. “We’ve notified Domino’s Pizza’s world headquarters and they’re very pleased,” said Mr. Elbaz as quoted by Haaretz. “They’re waiting to see the results.” Numerous chain restaurants introduced plant-based options to their menus in 2013, including Subway, Chipotle, and McDonald’s Canada.
