American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth recently started her own AA group—a non-profit, animal-rescue organization called Animal Avengers. With superhero-like moves, Animal Avengers rescue homeless animals, pay for veterinary care, and ensure foster and adoptive homes for stray animals until they find a loving home. Elizabeth funds the no-kill organization by signing autographs and selling Animal Avengers’ gear with the hopes of attracting donors in the future.
