Vegan Rella Recall

Vegan Rella creators are in for a slap on the wrist from vegetarian consumers. Panos brands, the faux-cheese maker, has recalled Vegan Rella Cheddar Block because it may contain an undisclosed milk protein. One lactose-intolerant customer reported an allergic reaction to the cheese substitute, which prompted the recall. Thankfully, the only cheese being recalled is the 8-ounce package with a sell date of 12/9/08.
