What you need:
- 5 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoons safflower oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
What you do:
- In a non-stick skillet, sauté the apples in the safflower oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes or until tender. Serve warm or cold.
