Sarah Hyland, star of the hit ABC comedy Modern Family, which began its second season September 22, recently shot an interview with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals 2 (peta2), discussing animal welfare. In the interview, Hyland speaks out on a variety of animal-rights issues, including animal testing, wearing fur, and dissection in classrooms. Hyland advises viewers to do research into products they buy to ensure the companies do not practice testing on animals, and to wear faux fur instead of real fur. She also encourages people to consider adopting shelter animals and urges students to refuse frog dissection.
