When we first tried Nasoya’s new Super Hummus at Natural Products Expo West, we thought that perhaps the excitement of the show, the flurry of new products, or the sugar high we’d been on for three days straight is what made us so enthusiastic about this hummus. Let’s face it, we’ve collectivly eaten a lot of hummus in our time. But upon returning to the VNHQ, we discovered that this savory spread really lives up to its name. Made with soybeans, Super Hummus is lower in fat than most offerings, but doesn’t skimp on taste. Whether or not it can fly or save the lives of kitties stuck in trees remains to be seen.
