Flourish Foods Company founder and natural foods chef Alice Cherng, together with Café Gratitude pastry chef Courtney Orsinelli, are seeking funds via kickstarter to bring their creamy vegan, gluten-free, and organic pasta sauces to the masses. The duo is just shy of their $5,000 goal, which will help them bring the sauces to LA farmers markets and independent grocery stores, as well as buy all the equipment, ingredients, and production materials needed to market the plant-based pasta-toppers. Currently Cherng and Orsinelli have created three flavors that match the depth and richness of traditional cream sauces: Roasted Garlic Alfredo, Pesto Cream, and Lemony Artichoke with Chives. Donations can be made until October 25.
