Daryl Hannah Producing Film

Longtime vegan and committed environmentalist Daryl Hannah has signed on to executive produce Greedy Lying Bastards, a new investigative documentary about corruption in the fossil fuel industry. Hannah, who is best known for her role in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill franchise and for her breakout performance in Splash, is a staunch sustainable-living activist, and an outspoken advocate for alternative energy and fuel sources. In a 2006 interview with VegNews, she said, “I intend to do all I can in my life to encourage compassion toward each other and all other species as well as help spread information about how to live in harmony with our environment.”
