We’re longtime fans of Vegenaise, applauding the classic spread as the perfect sub-in for ye olde dairy mayo. But when the quintessential condiment appeared at the VNHQ in an assortment of nouveau incarnations, we were ecstatic. From hot-hot-hot horseradish to punchy pesto, there wasn’t a dud among the bunch. Always excellent as a spread, these rich renditions are good enough to moonlight as a chip dip. Try dipping meat-free chicken tenders in the vegan tartar sauce, or try a pesto potato salad or roasted-garlic tofuna sandwich. One thing’s for sure: We love options. More is more!
