Bill Gates Makes Case for Vegan Meat Alternatives

Big thinker Bill Gates recently made a case for the urgent environmental need to move away from animal products in a slideshow titled, “The Future of Food.” By 2030, the demand for chicken will increase to 82 million tons, up from 22 million in 2000. As countries continue to develop and grow, says Gates, so will the consumption of meat.
