With the success of last year’s first-ever Texas VegFest, this year’s festivities promise to entertain, educate, and celebrate healthy and compassionate living. The second-annual Texas VegFest is set to take place on Saturday, April 6th in Austin, TX. Activities planned for the event are children’s yoga, cooking demos, live music, and speakers. Featured guests include Isa Chandra Moskowitz of Veganomicon, vegan boxer Omowale Adewale, and plant-based diet proponent Dr. Baxter Montgomery, a cardiologist from Houston. Local cruelty-free fare such as falafel, funnel cake, curry, and burgers will be available from 70 sponsors and vendors.
