The music festival had plenty of plant-based offerings for patrons to nosh.

LA Times recently featured the plethora of cruelty-free food options at Southern California’s Coachella festival. The yearly arts and music event takes place in Palm Springs, CA, drawing a crowd of more than 200,000 last year. “Coachella dining is essentially a weekend-long Treat Yo Self Day––and even more so for meat-avoiders,” writes LA Times’ August Brown. This year’s vegan fare featured offerings such as curried tofu, and a black beans and rice bowl with plantains from The Jamaican Ital stand; spicy vegan burgers from Green Truck’s veggie burger menu; and whiskey and ginger-infused cocktails from a bar in the Rose Garden.
