New Vegan Footwear Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Leila Krze designs high-end vegan shoes and hopes a Kickstarter campaign will raise enough to help fund her debut line. The men and women’s footwear carries “a Los Angeles-driven aesthetic, expressed in thoughtful designs, and made in the most luxurious and advanced vegan materials in the world,” according to her Kickstarter page. The fall 2013 collection will be handmade in Italy and retail from $300 to $750 per pair. The synthetic materials used by Krze are breathable, antibacterial, and absorbent, and her shoes come with the American Podiatry Associations’ approval.
