A Fitness and Food Venture Takes to Indiegogo

Jason and Hillary McDonald hope to launch a healthy food and fitness center in downtown Jacksonville, FL called Fresh. The health-conscious couple developed the business idea after successfully selling Jason’s homemade pineapple hot sauce around the community and at a local arts market. After winning 8th place at a crowdfunding competition, the couple decided it was time to take their idea to the next level. Fresh will have a studio space that offers yoga, fitness classes, and personal training; prepared, grab-and-go healthy vegan meals on the weekdays; and a full sit-down dinner on weekends. The couple has an Indiegogo site to help raise funding for the center.
