Celebrity vegan chef Tal Ronnen’s new trendy eatery Crossroads Kitchen has the entire country buzzing with excitement, and CBS’s local Los Angeles television station KCAL9 is no exception, recently featuring Crossroad’s executive chef Scot Jones and master vegan baker Serafina Magnussen on a news segment. In honor of National Grilling Month, the two cruelty-free culinary geniuses grilled up a few of the restaurant’s favorite dishes. During the on-air demonstration, Jones and Magnussen showcased Grilled Spiced Balsamic Peaches—seasoned with basil, cinnamon and cayenne pepper—and Grilled Watermelon Salad on a bed of arugula tossed in jalapeño dressing. The recipes can be found online at CBS Los Angeles.
