The National Beef Packaging Company in Kansas recently issued its second recall of beef products for possible E.coli within the last two months, reports CNN. The latest recall is for 50,000 pounds of ground beef. Though the possibly contaminated products received the United States Department of Agriculture’s inspection seal and were shipped to retailers, wholesalers, and food services distributors across the US, a routine check by Food and Safety Inspection found that the beef may have been exposed to E.coli. In June, National Beef Packaging Company had to recall 22,000 pounds of beef.
