Access Hollywood Spotlights New York Vegan Eatery

Celebrity online news source Access Hollywood recently spotlighted New York City’s raw, vegan take-away restaurant One Lucky Duck. The website notes that celebs such as Katie Holmes, Miranda Kerr, and Anne Hathaway have given their praises to Duck’s organic dishes, while red carpet regular Jake Gyllenhaal, routinely gets his juice fix there after his cycling class. Lucky Duck was started by vegan guru Sarma Meingallis, who is also responsible for bringing the restaurant Pure Wine and Food to the masses. “[The whole foods] ingredients are so naturally flavorful on their own that they satisfy the sweet tooth without addition of artificial sweeteners of flavor,” said Meingallis to the news source, referring to the almond flour, cacao butter, raw agave, and dried fruits she uses in her recipes.
