Hulting Takes Home Grammy

During one more stop on his way to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, vegan percussionist for Zappa Plays Zappa, Billy Hulting, took home his first golden Grammy award Sunday night. Hulting and fellow band members—Steve Vai and Napoleon Murphy Brock, among others—outplayed prominent peers like Metallica and Nine-Inch Nails in the “Best Rock Instrumental Performance” category.
