Twitter co-founder Biz Stone lobbies Congress for more veg lunch options in schools.

His preferred method of communication may involve short, virtual posts in the blogosphere, but Twitter co-founder Biz Stone does not oppose sitting down and writing a good, old-fashioned letter—if it’s for a good cause. In response to the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act, Stone was moved to send an actual piece of written correspondence to Representative George Miller, showing his support for the bill and underlining the importance of providing vegetarian options for schoolchildren. In an unusual twist of events, Rep. Miller replied to Biz Stone via Twitter. Hey, as long as there are more veg options for school kids, we don’t mind how the word gets out there!
