A man walks into a raw vegan café and is forever changed. The best part? It’s all captured on film. In the documentary May I Be Frank?, which is in its final stage of post-production, a 54-year-old meat-eating ex-drug addict with numerous health problems visits Café Gratitude in San Francisco and decides to go vegan for 42 days. His goal? To have a second chance at life in order to find love. The title suggests there is a Frank that should’ve been before all the addictions hijacked his life, and what better way is there to wipe the slate clean than to switch to a vegan diet?
