Mother Jones Meat Issue

On Monday, Mother Jones Associate Editor Kiera Butler published an online column titled “Death by Hamburger?” exploring the risks of eating meat. Butler cites a litany of research that reveals serious health risks attached to eating meat, including a recent study by UK scientists that shows a correlation between meat consumption and cancer. The article states that servings of meat have grown to unhealthy proportions, and it encourages people to reduce meat consumption for better health.
