Joanne Rose, creator of the award winning sketch-comedy web series Vegan 101 and longtime vegan, recently announced an upcoming half-hour sitcom in the works entitled, Sex and the Single Vegan. The sitcom is about a single vegan blogger in her 30s living in Los Angeles who suddenly makes it big after her blog goes viral, and Academy Award-nominated actor and animal-advocate Eric Roberts is expected to star in the series. Thus far, Sex and the Single Vegan has received more than $750, but must make at least $20,000 to meet its goal. For every donation made of more than $10, a special prize will be offered in return.
